Welcome to the captivating world of Moon2999, a video game I created as a gaming enthusiast and independent developer. With several decades of passion in developing and using PC and mobile games, I decided to take on a new challenge in 2020 by merging my passion for space with references to cult series such as Cosmo 1999 , Kill-Joys and The Expanse.

Moon2999 is a strategy game set in a future where humans have colonized most of the planets in the solar system. You are the commander of a human faction and you must manage your colony by constructing buildings, recruiting units and leading battles against other factions and Kragh aliens. You can construct a wide range of buildings, from command centers and military missions to production plants and research centers. Buildings can be upgraded to increase their power and efficiency. You can also recruit troops to protect your colony and attack enemies. There is a significant variety of units available, each with unique skills and different weapons. Battles take place in real time or turn-based and you have to use tactics and strategies to gain an advantage over your opponents. There are also RPG elements, you can upgrade your units by gaining experience on the battlefield.

In Moon2999, I am committed to providing a truly Free to Play gaming experience. I made the bold decision not to integrate in-app purchases or intrusive ads every 5 minutes. Instead, I give players full control over viewing ads, creating a smooth gaming experience without unexpected interruptions. Game progress in Moon2999 is not impacted by whether or not advertisements are viewed. However, watching ads becomes a way for players to support me financially and continue to grow the game. Rewards are carefully balanced to minimize impacts on progression, providing players with a fair and engaging experience.

A Balanced and Fair PvP Universe

Tired of games where players are crushed by much higher levels, I implemented fair PvP mechanics in Moon2999. It is impossible to attack players with more than one level difference, and only once per day per player. This ensures a competitive and balanced gaming experience, where strategy and skill prevail over raw power.

In Moon2999, teamwork goes beyond simple alliances. Players can join powerful corporations, pooling their efforts to face epic Corp Events, where bosses threaten entire systems. Corporations also battle for control of planets and trade routes, opening up opportunities for dominance and influence across the galaxy.

By being part of a corporation, players not only receive a regular salary, but also gain access to a shared economy — exchanging resources, supporting one another, and building collective strength. Cooperation is the key to survival, and the rewards are designed to make every member feel valued.
